Deliciously Ella shows how simple is truly is to “design your own” paleo protein energy bites. I love this! You basically start by choosing 2 nuts of your choice and add in some dates to a food processor.
Then, she recommends adding hemp powder, chia seeds, ground flax seed and cacao powder to give your high-energy snack a good dose of protein, fiber, omega 3 and flavor. Lastly, add in coconut oil and any other spices, flavorings, seeds or other ingredients you want. Check it out:
What I love about her demonstration is that it makes it super easy to make your own custom energy bites because you have a basic recipe to work with. Just flavor it up with different extra ingredients every time you make it, and you will never get bored!
Plus, she goes way beyond healthy – there snacks are “super healthy” with superfoods like cacao, chia seeds and coconut oil.
