Easy Paleo Meals – Made Once a Week

Man Preparing Food in KitchenIf you are into paleo bars and snacks, I’m guessing you don’t have a lot of time to cook or you simply don’t like cooking (like me!). Even if you enjoy spending time in the kitchen every once in a while, it’s nice to have a way to prepare healthy meals in advance so you have less to worry about if you have busy week ahead.

The video below shows you how to prepare all of your week’s meals at one time. You can cook a bunch of different foods all at one time so that during the week you have lots of items to choose from which are all ready to eat.

It covers everything from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Plus, this concept works even if you are trying to make paleo meals for one. If you are looking for easy paleo recipes, you can’t get much easier than this. It’s good clean fuel, and I personally like to spice things up with simple seasonings and coconut oil.

You won’t have to eat the same thing at every meal and you can get a wide variety of nutrients from different foods throughout the week. Most of all, if you’re running late and need to grab something and go – your fridge is ready for you to help yourself. No need to succumb to that bag of chips of fast food sandwich…

GoodOnYa: A Healthy Paleo Breakfast Bar?

sunrise with a GoodOnYa BarLooking for a healthy all-natural and organic protein bar that you can eat for breakfast? One that doesn’t have soy, dairy, gluten or grain? One that is high in fiber, protein and will fill you up instead of leaving you more hungry than before?

Hmmm.

Check out the GoodOnYa Bar. It’s got everything mentioned above. It’s even mostly raw too. Their moto is “every ingredient matters”, which, if you think about it should be the moto of every food product.

Just Like You Would Make at Home.

They make their products with ingredients that you would likely use if you were going to make one yourself in your kitchen at home. The only difference is that you don’t have to go through the work of making it yourself. Just grab it and go. Well, buy it first. Then grab it and go.

And by the way, you can eat if for lunch too.

I know personally, the more I read about food and ingredients relating to health, the more particular I am about what I eat. With GoodOnYa bars, you don’t have to worry about the ingredients because the whole point behind developing this product was to provide straight nutrition without all the other crap.

Paleo Krunch: Grain-Free Granola Bars

biting sharksPaleo Krunch bars are not only gluten-free, but they are grain free as well. There are very few grain-free granola bars out there, but this is one of them. It’s also very low sugar as well with 6 grams of sugar and 16 carbohydrates per serving.

How Much Does it Cost and Where Can You Get It?

A 5-bar pack costs about $15, which breaks down to about $3 per bar, which is comparable to most other paleo bars on the market today. The drawback is that this specialized bar is not available everywhere. You need to check specialty online grocery stores or directly through Steve’s PaleoGoods.

This is a good option for people who want a crunchy healthy snack (as opposed to a chewy one) but who also want to avoid grains. Check out the video for more information and ingredients.

By the way, you can also get Krunch in granola-style clusters. This is especially convenient for people who want to go paleo but who don’t want to give up their morning cereal. Mix it in a bowl with milk or take the bag with you and eat it on-the-go.

It also works as a crunchy dessert if you need something to finish off dinner. Since all flavors are a sweet and salty blend without the gluten, they can be a great fix on multiple occasions – without the guilt!

Need nut-free? No problem – look for the PaleoKrunch nut-free cereal. It comes in a great little tub, which means you don’t actually need a bowl if you don’t want one. =)
